Hello my Christmas blogging friends~
"I wish we could put up some of the Christmas spirit in jars and open a jar every month." ~ Harlan Miller
I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas with family and friends.
All is quiet here and the tree has been taken down and put away for another year. I always leave my tree up till after New Years but I was anxious to get the room back in order again.
I wanted to show you the darling tree my hubby gifted me with.
I'm sorry the lighting is so poor but you can see it is pale pink and it has an allover iridescent sheen to it. I can't wait to decorate it with something special for next year, maybe even for Valentines Day!
I spotted these wee trees on sale for half price at one of our hardware stores and I know exactly what I want to do with them.
One I will decorate for my tea parties and the other I will glue into the boot.
The boot had held a fabulous floral arrangement for my mother who is in a nursing home. It had beautiful red roses sprinkled with glitter and real pine and other evergreens as well as a glittered ornament and berries. I plan to glue the tree into the boot and decorate it for my mother for next year. So, I've got a few little projects to work on for next Christmas.
What will you be working on? Do you have any projects in mind?
This will be my last post here for a while. Should I happen to find something Christmasy I will share it with you. Meanwhile, I wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year.
Till next time, I am ....
