I'm Dreaming of a Pink Christmas!

Sugar and spice and all things nice...........
You may wonder why I'm dreaming of a pink Christmas this year! Well, it's simple really! I am going to be blessed with my first little granddaughter at Christmastime this year and I am thrilled! I have three sons and four little grandsons so a granddaughter is sure to bring some excitement our way!

I am pondering about decorating one little tree in a pink or baby theme this year in celebration of this most timely event in our lives.

While perusing the 'Net I came across this darling baby themed tree with lots of pink and blue on it. Photos courtesy of Country Living.

I have so many ideas for a pink tree this year. Perhaps a tree decorated with dollies or a little girl's teacups. Perhaps I'll simply spruce up my teacup tree I had last year. In any case, I'm going to have a wonderful time!
What ideas do you have dancing around in your head this year?

Christmas in my heart all year round~ Sandi

  1. The idea of a pink tree is so appropriate with a little granddaughter coming. CONGRATULATIONS!
    I'm excited for you!

As for your question: Hmmmmmm, I bought a very beautiful "crystal" Santa's sleigh with attached reindeer at an estate sale. It is a dead ringer for crystal but it's really made out of plastic with thousands of glittery sparkles. That's definitely on my agenda. Also,my wooden Santa collection, a gorgeous revolving 7 foot Christmas tree, a big Santa on the porch (got him for $5 at a yard sale this summer) and cinnamon scented candles. Those are for starters, Sandi. Nice to see your post!

  5. Oh my I totally understand! We raised two sons and no daughters, and then God blessed me with a granddaughter on Christmas Eve of 2005, which happens to be my favorite day of the entire year! We now have 3 grandsons as well, and two more grandbabies on the way but do know know if they are pink or blue yet! I love your idea of a special pink tree for your princess in the making! God is good...I love all my grandkids but my granddaughter was a very special blessing and we do have a very special relationship. You are going to have a BLAST!

  8. I love the idea of a pink or baby themed tree. It could be the start of you collecting ornaments for the g'baby like my mom still does. The boys will each leave our home with an entire box full if they want them. lol

I am excited to really do up the Advent season this year. And, to do a Univ of Texas mini tree for son's room. lol
